Here at Truvelop, we’re incredibly thankful to all of our dedicated users. Our fundamental purpose is to create the best possible experience for our Truvelop community. Creating meaningful relationships and encouraging positive development opportunities is what inspires us, and hearing what our customers have to say is what motivates us to strive to be the best. This has been an amazing journey and we couldn't have done it without our Truvelop community!
One of the many benefits of Truvelop is the messaging our Customer Success team sends to leaders and managers on the 1st and 15th of every month. Through Truvelop Tips, Meryl Goeke and Juliana Withers share best practices, proactive recommendations, and quicks tips with end users on various topics. This month, we are focusing on giving thanks and the benefits of expressing gratitude. Here is an excerpt from this month’s Truvelop Tip.
This month we’ve talked a lot about the proven benefits from practicing regular gratitude. Saying thank you makes everyone feel valued and can strengthen relationships and one’s sense of purpose. Here are 3 ways we recommend managers incorporate gratitude into their routine:
- Daily: On a daily basis, check-in on Team Members and thank them for the work that they’re doing. Highlight their contributions and emphasize their value on the team. People like to know that their work has meaning and meaningfully impacts the organization, so be sure to share specific examples. Send a Spark to recognize an accomplishment or job well done!
- Weekly: During weekly check-ins, invite Team Members to share what they are most proud of from this past week. Celebrate the little wins. Reminding a Team Member of their favorite parts of their role is a great way to encourage gratitude. Motivation and engagement are key areas to focus on, especially as we enter the final stretch of the year.
- Monthly: At the start or end of every month, take some time to reflect or review on recent performance after employee assessments. Managers can incorporate gratitude by utilizing a growth mindset to frame any challenge as a growth opportunity.
Gratitude can look like a lot of different things. Whether it’s explicitly saying thanks or celebrating the progress that’s been achieved, gratitude can be incorporated into daily habits.
